۶app recognises the importance of robust mental health, particularly during adolescent development. The College offers ongoing pro-active programs to our students throughout the year, such as R U OK Day? and Day of Difference.

The College provides three Counsellors on site who are all registered psychologists and have extensive experience with adolescents and are able to help students in a confidential, safe environment. The Counsellors have developed strong working relationships with external agencies and with practitioners in private practice, and continue to support the student at school in consultation with the external treating clinician. Consultation with families forms an important part of our practice.

Counsellors are available to help with:

  • Mental Health
  • Family Conflict
  • Well being
  • Working with referrals from external treating clinicians
  • The Counselling Department is located in the De La Salle Building, along with Learning Support and Careers.

You can contact the Counselling Department at: counselling@oakhill.nsw.edu.au

Additionally, ۶app has a first aid professional and an equipped sick bay with individual rooms for unwell students.
